Hello @everyone ! Im using the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta v0.16.2 and the PMMP Version : "PocketMine-MP_1.6.1dev-102_d6629d68_API-2.1.0" my username ingame is D0ctorLeon and if i try to join my local server on my pc i get "Unable to connect to world." so i cant join my server but my friends can join it with :3 i hope you can help me
That is a known bug with Minecraft Win 10 edition. If you run a a server on the same PC, you can not connect from a client running on the same PC.
There is a way to fix it. Simply open up powershell and enter this command: CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -n="Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe"
WTF didn't know that Another WTF: It says UWP (universal windows platform), but is it really? No, the Windows Phone Edition isn't like the W10 edition since it the WP version has no XBOX login... #blamemicrosoft
Well, it's just the proxy that does not want us to do this. I can't quite understand why though. And the UWP is in fact very interesting. I'd love to know if it's the same id on window phone
No that dosent solve it that just using circumventing the bug itself Good news for me that means i can develop and debug on my PC!!
Dont work for me :3 i also tryed to make a virtual maschine and start the server there but this dont work at all because no one can see the server if i share my connection :3
I found out where this "MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe" came from. In the folder of the windows application there is this "AppxManifest.xml "file that contains the identity of the application (in the <identity> tag) I noticed that the identity for 0.16.2 is just "MinecraftUWP" instead of "MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe" Sure enough when I tried the command it worked ! The full command used : "CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -n="Microsoft.MinecraftUWP"
