start.sh options

    Hi guys,

    my pocketmine MP server works fine.

    but when i start with ./start.sh an close the terminal the server goes off.

    how can i start the process or server in background?

    start.sh -l dont works when the shell is terminated.

    i haave a dediacte linux server.

    You can run pocketmine in a screen session.
    Create a screen session and give it a name (let's call it "pmserver"):
    PHP:
    screen -dmS pmserver
    Enter the session:
    PHP:
    screen -x pmserver
    Now that you're inside a screen session, you can run anything in here and not worry about the program exiting when you leave the console. Start your pocketmine server using ./start.sh.

    If you exit the terminal, the server will still be running.
    You can exit from the screen session using Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+D. You're now back to your main session (not inside a screen anymore).
    You can list all screen sessions using screen -ls.
    You can enter an existing screen using screen -x name.
    You can kill/force stop a screen session using
    PHP:
    screen --S name quit
