Sound too good to be true?

Found this local site where someones listed a gaming pc with specs - i5, gtx 750ti, 256GB SSD+500GB HDD, 16GB RAM
All for only £200. Sound legit?

 

Depends. Are they a trusted seller on said site?

 

Its a classified ad site called gumtree. It says the seller has been selling for 6 years plus. But the site doesnt seem to have any feedback or rating system like ebay.

Graphics cards can be replaced. Assuming it's in good condition, everything else, especially the RAM would be worth it.

I assume you can contact the seller before buying. Ask questions, look up parts online to see if it's worth your money. It sounds like it wouldn't run anything super new at max settings, but you could definitely upgrade it along the way and sell the old parts. Even a GTX 1050 for 100 to 130 would run most games at medium settings.

16 gb of ram is $150-200, gtx 750ti $50, 250gb ssd $70
in total maby 250-300 pounds total

 

The graphics suck. As long as the mainboard supports newer graphic cards, the offer is good
