    Hi,

I am starting a mcpe and gaming hosting company.

I KNOW I KNOW. Shared hosting horrible blah blah. That's fine, but some users like it, let's face it. There's something a whole lot more simple about having just a panel and someone managing the backend.

But, I'm not here to advertise.

What would be prices you would buy for shared hosting and vps hosting?

    Thank you.

I want a dedicated server for free :). Seriously though, as with any business venture, your competitors prices will give you a good indication of what people are prepared to pay, they have been tweaking price vs revenue for years to find the best price point.

It would depend on what you're pricing plan is going to be exactly. You could charge by ram, or charge by player slots and offer a bunch of ram. Just don't charge by player slots and ram, because then nobody would buy it. Like @Awzaw said, a good starting point would be to look at your competitors prices and go from there. As for me, what I would be willing to pay would depend on the quality of the service, and it's features.

the most high end CPU and GPU cores
i personally expects i have full freedom to set the limit of my players
i expect a ftp service packet accompanied with it
i prefers to have more then one open ports
i prefers around 1 GB of ram is enough
that have decent support reps that dont make me question my purchase of said service
i think i would pay for that with around 1-2 usd

unrealistic? maybe, but you cant blame me for WANTING unrealistic things

we're on a forum that's dedicated to mcpe servers. I don't think when i am using the word 'Server' that i need to specify that it's a mcpe server.

well if ur like me just use 20 gigs of ram and a crappy CPU . Might not have the best performance but hey atleast u can use world edit //copy an entire map :)

And use badly coded plugins without worrying about memory issues

on a side note, this piece of crap uses 8 gigs of ram at idle :p
    that wasn't a joke either..

also a more steep price but one that last forever works too, (pay once own forever server plans)
just note that no one will trust you unless you have been running for years (people will think you may shut it down once you get enough money)
[Yes there host that offer a one time fee normally over the 50$ range like 199$ etc]
