Port Forward not Working

Okay so I recently got Pocket mine-MP on my phone and I port forwarded my router's 19132 port so my friends can join my server. But I port forwarded and told my friends to join me from my external IP. But they said that they can't connect to my server. They even sent me proof that it wasn't working and when I checked on a port tester it said that my port was closed even though it was port forwarded. Someone help please!!!!

Mmh, so basically where is the server running on phone or mobile?

 

It is running on my phone and I play on my PC

 

And the ip you portforward I hope is the ip of your computer?

 

It also could be your firewall, but running it on a mobile phone, leaves me speechless.

He is running his PocketMine-MP on his phone. He actually said it, and his screenshots of the files are on mobile as well.

 

I am running Pocket mine MP on my phone and on the port Forward, I port forwarded my phone's internal IP address since the server is running on it. Did I need to port Forward my PC's IP Address? That makes no sense because the server is running on my phone.

 

Also my router had a Firewall and I disabled it but still I had the problem. There are options of Port Triggering, DMZ and Virtual Server in my router and I did the port Forward in Virtual Servers. Did I did it correct?

 

Why don't you run your server on pc?

 

I want to have my server with me the whole time like if I go to my friends house I can get the server with me instead of it being stuck on the desk

 

you can remotely connect to your pc from your phone. Install OpenSSH server on your computer and then you can remotely control your server. There is not a single benefit you have by hosting it on your phone. How do you think people manage their servers who are hosting them from the other side of the planet?

 

What??? How can I do it? This would lierally solve my entire problem!!! Can you explain it to me or link a video or something?

I've done it on windows using this doc: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/openssh/openssh_install_firstuse
You should also port forward default ssh port 22, for external connections.

Do this and don't abuse your mobile device any longer.

 

Okay so now I just install Pocketmine-MP on my PC and do these steps. So I would be able to access the server from my phone. Will I be able to just start/stop the server?
