I can't not agree on that. You're so right on that. For example I've only made one proper plugin, but it's not like I'm bad at coding either... This will take more than just an afternoon of thinking.
This happens in every aspect of our lives and we can't deny the whole idea just because of one negative side effect which it could bring to these forums. It's better to review this in pros and cons.
yes but i personally think these kind of cost does not outweigh the benefit of having tags therefore this is my choice personally i dont see any very practical good usage to even add a tag other then for novelty looks and lets not make this into an economics or philosophy(even tho i personally enjoys that) debate

For this suggestion I am gonna say no, we as habitual humans would deceived by a banner alike the old forums. Many times when I viewed threads at the old dilapidated forums, many developers with this banner would be mentioned by others as "top developers" as a result of having this banner and I was kind of upset because other developers which were truly better and had been there for long went unnoticed.
