I am on when I am free, which is not often.
If at all you wish to contact me, feel free to send me a Conversation(private message) and it will alert me instantly.

Besides, there are a lot of helpful people here (besides myself) that would happily help you. I see that @jasonwynn10 has answered your question.

I hope you find PocketMine / PMMP.io a friendly and helpful place.

You can host a server on an Android device. I do it for developing plugins.

    Use this app https://goo.gl/N0Zg8s

Disclaimer: The above app is not created by the PMMP team, nor is it created by me.

I wouldn't recommend any laptop, desktop, or home device for PMMP. A Linux VPS or Dedicated server like those from DigitalOcean works pretty well.

Yes, but you'll only be able to join with an old version of MCPE.

You've needed PHP7 for a lot longer than that. Maybe downgrade to 0.10 or 0.11 (really old versions!)
