What should we tell users asking for help on the old forums? Should we refer them to here? Or should we continue business as usual over there? I am going to put the link in my signature, but should we tell people to come here when we reply to posts?
People will probably continue to post on the old forum for a while I suspect. But I'm sure people will gradually come over here.
I will still stay on the old forum redirecting all help to pmmp forum. . And, will also go on the forum for some of the old threads that simply can not be re-posted, such as the shoghichips thread. Such classic posts on there.
At some point, there won't be anyone ON the old forum... It takes time to forward people to this new forum!
I personally think it should be left alone sooner then latter as activity falls it will die on it's own due to lack of activity so i dont think people talking over there is any concern
I don't think moderators are allowed to stop threads from being created, even if it's in a certain section.
Agreed. I was putting spoilers at the end of all of my posts, but that seems to annoy some people, so I'm putting it in my signature
