Hostname Help

    Hi, I recently directed a hostname I purchased to the public IP address of the Pocketmine server I portforwarded to make it more memorable and easier for players to join however when ever I restart the server it takes around 3 days before the hostname starts working again and allowing me to join however I am able to access my server with the IP address all the time.

    Please can you give an explanation to why this happens so I can fix it,

    Does the server have a static IP and how is the hostname configured?

    Closing issue now because I have fixed the it - I found that I was forwarding too many IPs to my hostname so it was significantly slowing it down.

    Too many IPs to your hostname? Did you mean too many hostnames to your IP instead?
