Floating text flickers

I've been having this problem where floating text flickers when I change the text of it. On other servers, it seems to be pretty smooth. Is there a cause for this flicker?

 

If your sending the text on a repeating task it will flicker?

 

You're likely removing and adding the floating text to update it?

 

If you are using the floating text particle in pmmp that will happen, if you use a custom entity for that it will be smooth

It happens because the pmmp floating text particle despawns the old "entity" and spawns another one when you add the particle again
