Connect to localhost on Windows 10 with 1.2+ versions

Hey. I already opened the firewall and did did these steps:

But dev_uselocalserver is getting removed in options.txt automatically in versions 1.2 and later versions. Any workarounds?

 

There's no need to do both ways; just one is enough

 

The server would either not show up (not in lan/friends nor servers when manually adding) and connecting causes a timeout or similar without trying to build up a connection.

Both PM and MC run on the same Win10 device

 

Windows firewall or router firewall? If you can enable DMZ host in your router settings
