I'm not downing pmmp but it is a little complicated for first time server owners. Im sure the staff try to make it as easy as possible but with jenkins down so often it is hard getting the latest phars and stuff and I think a section with peoples servers that run on pmmp would be cool and encouraging for the newbies out there. So they know that pocketmine isn't dead and a lot of people are using it right now even on mcpe 1.0.0 and 1.0.2 [update] The more I thought about it I did notice there possibly could be problems such as advertising servers and stuff and also it would be hard to tell if the server was for sure pmmp and not Elywing or genisys or another spoon
i prefer to have a +1 for agree ~ for netual -1 for disagree since not everyone disagree with the same reasons for me, why not just use these 100 list of server list, even tho i like the idea of a independent one where qualitity are ensured(but lack of work force rn make it not possible)
I maintained the server list on the old forums and trust me, it will go horribly. Most of the time I was deleting tens of spammy advertisements and on the rare occasion there was an actual server, the poster had already ditched the the thread and never replies. "Verifying quality" was also a joke, nobody had the time to visit every single one of the servers to check it out. So my suggestion is to just use one of the many server lists available.
I think PMMP should have a Official Test server, for newbyes to test the Software. Just a Vanilla Survival with SimpleAuth, or no auth at all. With 50 blocks radius or 100. If is a bad idea, just ignore
You test PocketMine by running the server yourself. If you join a PocketMine server, you're only testing the client, not the server.
