Downloaded and installed the 1.0.6 version. Kids are happy again

 

I have just setup a server and when installing the PE software to my phone for testing it's the latest version so I am now using 1.6 & all I want to have is simpleauth plug in to work or any other auth tool like that. I am getting an error saying that I don't have permission to use /Register
I am very new to this and most of it does not make lots of sense at the moment. any help would be appreciated

SimpleAuth does that sometimes. You can try reinstalling the plugin (and deleting its configuration files), although I for one would just use a different auth plugin.

 

Which plugin would you suggest? the others I tried gave me an api error

Good News is I got it to work by installing both - I made no changes to the config just worked out the box

Loading SimpleAuthHelper v2.0.5

 

So server now is outdated Grrr - anyone know if there is away or rolling back to an older client? or if this will be worked on? thanks what a pain in the neck

 

It's because of things like this that I really wish that MCPE had a version selection (like Minecraft PC) it would make things so much easier. But unless that ever comes, the only way to roll back to an older Minecraft: Pocket Edition version is to use an older APK file (if you're on Android) or an older IPA file (if you're on IOS). Keep in mind however, that this isn't exactly completely "legal".

 

But then it wouldn't support any MCPE version at all
