I apologise if I'm posting in the wrong place but I wasn't sure where to put this.

I'm trying to setup a server for minecraft w10/bedrock/v1.2.11 but it looks like it isn't supported.

Have I missed something obvious, or is it not supported? If not, will it ever be?

I've ran through the setup every thing looks to run fine.

When I try to connect to ip 0.0.0.0 with correct port it doesn't connect

    Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, 0.0.0.0 is not the ip to connect on the server, you have to get the IP here or if you are running on a machine e.g of Linux you should get the ip on your machine information..

0.0.0.0 will never be an IP o_O

I did also try my local machines ip, the one displayed on a similar site to what you mentioned and 127.0.0.1.

I'm running it on my w10 x64 machine. Should I try with a vm running Linux?

It is not necessary a Linux machine to run a MCBE server, there is also the option to connect the server in Windows obviously, and the IP address 127.0.0.1 is also not the ip of the server too, ip will always be with numbers like this: 235.624.564.325
Open this website on your machine that you have Pocketmine installed and running: http://www.meuip.com.br/
this should be the correct ip to connect to your server:

If you are using your device to connect and running the server on your PC, you need to run
    Code:
    ipconfig
and look for your IPv4 address. Use this to connect.

Also keep in mind that the IPv4 address will change slightly either every time you rejoin the network or reboot the PC (idk which one)

This is assuming he has port forwarded, which does not seem the case. Therefore this is incorrect. If you are connecting on the same device, you can use localhost or 127.0.0.1. If you are connecting on a different device on the network, you will need your computers IPv4 address.
