Some people are posting in Off-Topic to get their User Title changed. Should this be allowed or should we only count helpful posts?
Only count liked posts!... Oh, wait some people like everything *cough* me *cough* @Blabla *cough* I'd say, everything counts, what helps! And by it helps it means it's mot posted in OffTopic and got liked, but how will you count that?
Uhmmmm I don't think my opinion counts here lol. I'd say I agree with allowing it for total post count, but no spamming and off-topic (oops! sorry!)
no so if someone decided to post something like count to PHP_MAX_INT we wont have to feel like we are exploiting the system
Will current messages in the off-topic section not be counted as well when the change happens? Or will only the new messages not count? (I'm guessing the first one)
Magicode witnesses the horror in @Blabla 's eyes as he imagines all of his newer posts slipping away... The like button is still gone
I think its best that the like button is gone, because the LIKE button is supposed to be used when you are being helpful, and not when people feel like it. If I was to make a topic in Off-Topic, and it was about "My Little Pony"... I would get spammed with likes, and that is the wrong way to get likes.
