longer supported on 32-bit systems... with 64bit OS

Hi, I'm running raspbian stretch on a pi3. I thought this was 64 bit OS, but i'm getting the message: PocketMine-MP is no longer supported on 32-bit systems.

Edit: It's a fresh install of raspbian, not a dist-upgrade.

getconf LONG_BIT says 32
I really did think raspbian stretch was 64bit, thats why I installed it.

afaik that's because the Raspberry Pi Foundation wanted to keep the same OS spread over all Pis, but you can always switch to another OS thats 64 bit.
