Is the Hive using PMMP? Just got curious..

The Hive uses their own custom server software which is written in Java and has a similar api to spiggot, they spent over a year working on their software before they started creating any minigames

 

Yes it goes for all the main server's and The hive is also on java and pe so thats why.

 

No i think all the servers that are in the featured servers list use mojang’s server software but edited.

That doesn't work when the names are popular anyways. Also, Lifeboat uses their own software too, (Steadfast is made for them) enforced by the fact that it's so watered down and not good to work for anyone else.

 

if it so watered down how does their server have such features

 

If a Fiat is such a bad car, why can it still drive on all roads?
