    Hello pmmp,
I've noticed with world edit when you paste, copy, cut or set an area it will take a certain amount of time depending on how large the region selected is. I was wondering, does this only cause lag because it's a region (bottom corner, to top corner) or could you code it so every block is set individually and as a result would take 0.00s to set.
I'm asking this because I'm trying to make a ship keep moving 1 block ahead of its self every half a second. so basically if the whole ship can't be set 1 block ahead of its self without taking 0.00s to set it would lag the server. which would be a huge problem.
hope this was understandable. here's a video of what I mean

(only difference is this isn't on a server)

I think this is possible, but only if your server has just 0% lag, like how i have seen on this video and what you say on the top, "only difference is this isn't on a server" because if you do on a server it's too much differente as vanilla.
Server runs many things, vanilla don't run anything.

Like, actually you can do this on server but i think it's impossible to have 0% lag if your server don't have a good performance and support for amount of players.

wrong. Server runs barely 10% of the stuff vanilla does.

Yeah but what i'm trying to say is that servers are not like vanilla without any API, vanilla is better then any other thing (API) installed to them.
