   im using iprotector and it still allows me to break blocks even though i have it set to true to stop breaking blocks. block place works

   Sometimes this issue with the code. Would recommend to stop the server. and manual check the configs.
   
   Also try not to confuse yourself with spawn-protection *which is located in the server settings

   Make sure you are not whitelisted on the area you protected.
   
   Also make sure you have not got the permission to bypass it. By default, OPS have perms to bypass it
