Ok, title was clickbait but since I'm making a tutorial on how to make a Minecraft server on youtube for the noobs could somebody give me the most updated phar link and the most updated pocketmine mp link that includes the installer.sh file I was only able find this file in the php buildscripts on github and without it i couldn't get the server to run but it's so old what's updated and contains this and the other neccesarry file like start.sh (note none of the links can be from the Jenkins server its down too often and I don't want viewers comenting my links dont work) if no one responds im just gonna host the files i used personnally on mega but they have the api 3.0 alpha 2 and the newest is api 3.0 alpha 3 which i would rather use

The Latest Build will always be found on poggit.pmmp.io . You ucan use this command to always grab the latest builds:

does that include the installer.sh does thatc include everything someone would need to start their own server every file everything or is that just the phar

 

It runs through the installer with me. Try executing it yourself and see what exactly it gets.

 

i cant use the wget command on my mac but it does work on my virtual machine

 

isnt the other comand curl idk i dont care but im trying to make this where it works for almost all operating systems osx windows and definetly linux

 

exactly that was why .maybe i really am missing something stupidly simple but when i set up my server on my computer with the latest phar at the time api 3.0 alpha 2 the only way i could get it setup was with the installer.sh and the rest of the files on this page https://github.com/PocketMine/php-build-scripts

It's curl on the Mac I guess and wget on Linux

 

Yes I know but there are some other minor differences as well curl (everything after wget) simply does not work the comand on mac is slightly different but I don't know how so

You can install curl and wget everywhere (except Windows)

 

I meant the preinstalled one, I know that you can install wget on macOS

 

Did you check https://pmmp.io/get.html ? That is where the official install directions are located.

 

Probably git bash then.
