I'm not sure if this should be here or in the plug in dept. I'm new to this chan so bear with me.

Now that I have my server set up, I have a world to play in, how can I generate random mobs, or monsters for a lack of a better word, or NPC to fill the world and provide extra fun for the grandkids?

I have read that Pocketmine does not support mobs per sei out of the box but that this could be achieved through plugins or such addons. I have my server.properties set tp generate them:

    spawn-animals=true
    spawn-mobs=true
    spawn-npcs=true
    spawn-protection=16

However, so far I have been unsuccessful.

I also have read that PureEntities could do this as well (?)

Is there any way to use scripting or an existing plugin that will generate these creatures within a world automatically?

Do the mobs only show up on certain gamemodes? (survival, creative, etc)

There is no need for a particular gamemode for mobs to appear, this option on server.properties is not "complete", but it has how to make a plugin to show mobs

Mob spawning isn't implemented in PMMP as of now, so you'd need a plugin that is compatible with the newer versions of PMMP.

Could you recommend some solid plugins that will accomplish this that I can test?
