I think it is better if this forum has a ".com", ".net", or ".org" top-level-domain. If you support this thread, reply which domain domain name would be best? Side note: "pmmp.[com/org/net]" are taken, so think of a different one.
All the good domains have already been taken, I think its fine the way it is, unless you use .me, or buy the .net domain from the owner.
If that was going to be done, I believe it would/should have been done at the start. Now that this forum is open with this domain, and linked to many things, I don't see it changing, unless agreed by all parties.
I feel like .io domains are a bit too known for being those online games... People would almost think it's another one of these agar.io or slither.io games...
I associate it more with fancy cloud services running on Amazon EC2, but I think we can agree that it's a bit of a gimmick now.
my idea is to firstly NOT buy any domain and get in touch with a mod preferbally a super admin who set up all this cloudflare mailgun mandness imo .net is best and 4 word names domain aren't very cheap - is highly discouraged since it looks fishy and bad for SEO + look like some phishing domain
