did the developer ever return after all i'm talking about the main developer, who left without saying anything.
He just kind of left. Speculation is that he had to leave because of his new Job at Mojang, but we will never know for sure.
MY Theory: PocketMine founder left by cause of Mojang. They didn't allow him to continue developing PocketMine, due to realms being added to MCPE (in past versions).
developer of pocketmine worked with mojang and mojang supports pocketmine plus something could of happened to the developer
Mojang doesn't really support PocketMine, at least not really. Shogicp was hired by Mojang awhile after he founded PocketMine.
In one of the issues @dktapps posted on the issue tracker of Mojang, related to the chunk issue things, an employee of Mojang in fact stated that they do want third party server softwares to exist. Doesn't matter if they do or not, I would have made the same decision as Shoghi did. Would you rather be a well paid person at a well-known company, or develop a server software that people almost only complain about and you earn almost nothing for? I fully respect the decision of Shoghi, and I think he had the control over this decision himself.
That doesn't mean he should completely leave pocketmine. He could come for half an hour on weekends and at least talk to the community. My question is, why did he leave without saying anything?
No they do not, why else would they create realms? Mojang is owned by Microsoft, and all Microsoft wants is money. Microsoft wants to eliminate all competition, as Pocketmine is free and Realms is not. Microsoft does not care about Pocketmine, as like I said, they only want money.
What I think he wants is a silent exit, maybe he was just done with Pocketmine. Maybe Mojang hired him thinking that Pocketmine would fall apart, or they just won't let him back.
although big flashy colours are nice to look at, it is not quite allowed. But you do have a fair point.
