Command block dont work at all

I got a problem, when i put a command in the command block like /time set day he works like a normal command block.

But when i need to get a effect like /effect @p 1 1000 1 the command block dont work and he say me:
*That player cannot be found*

No sense pls anyone help me :,)

 

But PocketMine doesn't even have command block support?! What plugins are you using?

P.S: If you want to use command blocks you should probably use the official dedicated bedrock server instead.

 

I think OP means the chat bar, where players input commands.
Things such as @p, @s, etc. are not supported officially
If you want to use those, you can use PlayerSelectors.

Never mind, if you're trying to use command blocks, it won't work.

If you want command blocks, just take HimbeersaftLP's advice. What would you want to do with command blocks though?
