Is the ip of the server just your ip that you use daily or does it have its own ip? everytime i start my server it says 0.0.0.0 and i have no clue as to where to find the ip
Your IP address could be, 127.0.0.1, localhost, or your local IP address on your network. If you are having trouble connecting to your server using Win10 Minecraft on the same machine. Check this out: https://pmmp.readthedocs.io/en/rtfd/faq/connecting/win10localhostcantconnect.html
Are you using a host or are you hosting your server via your pc? If its a host there should be a game panel where you can find your ip and port. But if you are hosting your server from your PC follow these steps 1) search cmd in the searchbar of your desktop (windows) 2) Open Command prompt 3) type the command ipconfig 4) Copy the Ipv4 address and use a local device to access your server In order to let others join you need to port forward: https://forums.pmmp.io/threads/port-forwarding-guide-by-kem.320/ Want to join your server from the Pc you are hosting from? Follow the steps: 1) search powershell in your pc searchbar (windows) 2) run powershell as administrator. 3) Insert the command CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -n="Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3b8bbwe" Hope it helps **Best Regards** GreenSide
