I have created my Server on Linux, and i'm trying to play the Server on My Minecraft Pe Android. I tried to connect to Server with my PORT=19132 and ADDRESS = EXTERNAL IP (public ip? right? ipv4?) (Which Showed On PocketMine-MP) AND i have tried using my Phones IP ADDRESS=192.168.1.5 and the Linux laptop IP Address=192.168.1.20 Neither of these 3 IP ADRESSES seemed to work on Minecraft saying "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO WORLD" And it never says the Server is Online (on mcpe or server manager apps=Minetroller]. The Server Console (Linux Terminal) shows no errors, and whatever i do nothing seems to work. so I port-forwarded my IP ADDRESS= 192.168.1.5 (OR)= 192.168.1.20 i tried using both I don't know if i made a mistake portwarding either one [if you dont know the issue just tell me what device IP ADDRESS [android device with mcpe OR linux with pocketmine-mp] needed to portforward] but both didnt work, i used PORT=19132 for both PORTS = EXTERNAL and INTERNAL and UDP/TCP (Since I Enabled RCON) and this didnt work neither. i checked with even port checker to see if port 19132 is opened which showed CLOSED. i have looked online how to open this port but no luck. i used alot of linux commands (UFW) to enable the port or idk what it does but it didnt work. at this point idk if my linux and network is the problem here or the pocketmine i a have the latest API and using Latest mc. LIKE I SAID IDK IF POCKETMINE IS FAULT OR MY LINUX AND NETWORK/ROUTER.. but i think pocketmine has to do something since i cant even JOIN the LOCAL SERVER. these are the ip addresses i know= ipv4 which i think is the public ip starts with 86, my devices ip addresses starts with 192...ye thats it also for local server do i need to use my public ip which i think is called ipv4...idk i search up whats my public/ipv4 ip and they both are the same... i dont think the local address is the public ip since its for public right? i think its ip that starts with 192 but idk which one Linux or Android.......PLSSS HELP IM DYING WITH TRYIN TO FIX THIS FOR 4 WEEKS NO sleeping non stop 24/7
Some routers don't route your public ip internally, so you might have trouble connecting using the public IP when inside the same network. Try using the local ip of your Linux server add it to a Minecraft client in the same network. If that doesn't work, it's a firewall issue. What ufw commands did you run? Yeah that is definitely noticable
