EDIT: got a name. stay tuned. I was inspired by devathon.org for this project. I'm creating a PHP application, with similar structure to Poggit, which will act as a semi-automated plugin development challenge website. I'm stuck for a contest name and domain name. I don't have money to pay for a domain so it will be either .tk, .ml, or .cf unless some kind soul would do it for me (but I don't expect that). I also currently have no way of hosting it, but i have some contacts i could ask. My first idea was Fortnightly Development Challenge (Like FBC on /r/mcpe) and domain fdc.tk, but it just doesn't sound right. Ideas? what I plan to add * Login/register system * Basic user profiles * Admin page to start and stop a contest * Automated method to submit a plugin * Lint (like on poggit) * Automated email system when the contest ends * Voting system It might seem a bit far-fetched, considering im not the best developer - but ive got some of it working already and the site will be open-source. _______________.[ Current ideas ]._______________ PHPathon PPPathon Pluginathon Codeathon FDC (Fortnightly Development Challenge) Pocketathon PPDC (PocketMine Plugin Development Challenge) PDC (Plugin Development Challenge) MDC (Monthly Development Challenge) Devcon PluginJam DevJam P4P Challenge (Plugins for PocketMine Challenge) PluginSprint TopPlugin L33TDev Challenge Hackadoodle
Possible, yet a bit generic. Pluginathon is another option. If this were java we would be sorted...javathon
Ask @Humerus. I'm infamous for seizing others' ideas and finishing it first myself (There was already a project called PocketDock Builder, which is a CI for plugins and already semi-completed, then I made pmt.mcpe.me/insta and Poggit, both worse than PocketDock Builder, then PocketDock Builder got discontinued )
