On the forums there is a like button, well I think there should be a dislike button to show people that their content is at standards. Comment +1 if you like this idea.
Hey, I like this idea, however, users can create other accounts and take abuse of liking system. In my opinion, it should be removed, or have someway of other members not knowing how many likes are on a post, etc.
Yeah I agree with this. I like the idea, but it could be abused easily. Also, some people will feel quite bad if they get a lot of dislikes.
i feel like our community arent ready for something like this most common is revenge dislike (allowed on most BBPHP forums mods be like this is none my regards) disliking every single post of that person he hates since it is not anon unlike reddit it would invoke the disliked user to dislike everything the person who disliked it maybe that is end of it maybe not maybe call in some "friends" and the war raged on
you will still need to define what's dislikable or is it just one of these button you click because you dislike (as the button name implies) for reddit it is kind of this self content sorting usage where things dont contribute goes down and only downvote if it does not contribute to that place you are in for here if we add one what the reason of it? other then to show other how X post is very disliked
Downvote/Upvote like on stackoverflow would also be a good idea. And if your post is getting negative votes it should get grayed out or something similar.
that will somewhat work ex this post would be greyed out because of downvotes unlike reddit it moved them down but we cant do that here since we dont mirror the thread style of reddit
