(Help) Minecraft version

My server currently runs on 1.17.2 and pocketmine currently goes up to 1.17. Is there a way to manually change the version? I know nether games has somhow done this since they run on 1.17.2 aswell

 

you can easily do that by changing the server phar?

I found out the reason why its not working now. pocketmine doent support mcbe worlds only anvil
