    Greetings plugin developers of PocketMine
This will be the first fortnightly plugin development challenge

Since this is the first challenge, any types of plugins will be accepted (hint: be creative)

The winner for this challenge will be chosen after UTC 6, 28(Wednesday)

To submit, simply reply to this thread starting with [Submission] (your title and + anything) and include github repo, currently only github repository is accepted, you should also include a .phar for other users who want to test your plugins, you are allowed to make revisions after your submission, we prefer you to submit things you made in response to this instead of plugins you already made

To vote, you can simply like any post starting with [Submission], winner will be chosen by total likes, anyone are welcomed to vote on one or more plugins with your own criteria

This is a testrun to see how the community response (i don't really know what to expect), any feedback are welcomed, please note this challenge currently has no rewards and is done purely for fun for the time begin (because i know someone will ask this)

I like the idea a lot, I'm in. Could be good to stimulate the plugin development too. :)

nothing will stop you for this round, but future things like theme and restrictions will be added, so it's more of a challenge then a showcase like right now, so that wouldn't be so easier for future

That would make EssentialsPE win by far if it wasn't resolved lol

Depends on what it would be judged on, EssentialsPE code (especially structure) isn't really too neat if you'd ask me. :p

    Hey, hey!
You should make a contest for the most efficient code rather than just a plugin and it's features.
Experienced developers with big plugins will obviously win, maybe time to give the newbies a chance? Motivates them!

What if we have a contest who can make the best plugin which includes a specific set of features and commands? Pre-existing plugins would not be allowed and it is required that everything be included in a single class. That or multiple classes. Whatever fits best for the requirements.

Good idea, that would really stimulate developers (even better ones) to optimize their code and think about it well.

I think it'd be a better idea to first make a "Plugin Idea Contest", and make a plugin contest with the theme being the winner :D

Also, this is no high time for a plugin development contest since the API is still in alpha phase. A contest requiring a standardized, stable and complete API would be nicer.

Hello! I'd like to submit a plugin I made for this challenge.
It is able to replace messages the server sends inside text packets.

A phar file download is provided in the releases tab on the GitHub repository.

Nice plugin. Considering that many players actually ignore the messages sent to them, this message can improve players' experience by reducing the message lengths sent to their clients :)
