Hello there developers, I have once again made a forum to ask a question about resource pack! I been trying to make a plugin that can accepts resource pack but forcefully without Downloading the pack, I tried but I kept crashing it was last year I tried now I am wondering again is it possible to do that in pocketmine? SUMMARY: basically accept resources pack forcefully, without downloading it as cache.
Afaik you cant prevent the client from caching your resource pack, and to apply the resource pack the client has to download it unless of course the client already has it installed
If you don’t still get what I am trying to accomplish, a resource that accepts automatically when they join so they don’t have ui or shit. i was just curious because it seems like hive does it for border for their new skywars game mode.
Uh, how visiter can uses it without downloads it. The pack will saved in com.mojang.minecraftpe cache
Minecraft has feature server, just checkin if they have a feature that allows them to have resource pack without player applying them. And I don’t think they would let you save the resource pack in MCPE cache not sure just was questions I was curious about. But it’s probably geometry or custom block stuff like that.
It basically is a player entity with custom geometry and texture, setScale to that scale and use that
If it is not then it must be an add-on but they can implement it without showing download screen. The add-on can add custom block but it needs to implement both resource pack and behavior pack
As I said I thought it would be a advantage for features server so I was trying to find out. not sure if we are talking same thing I am talking about their border. i know. Previously said I was checking if they got advantage no I’m fine I was just asking.
