Hi, I have a little problem with the chat in game and I just want to know if this is a bug/problem etc. or is it just because the 0.16.0 phar is still under development? I did some searches and looked if anyone is having the same problem or has anyone asked about it in the old and new forum but there is non. NOTES: I am using the latest Pocket-mine-MP 1.6.1 and also using Pocket-mine-MP phar 0.16.0 my PC is using Windows 10 IDK if this is important but I'm just giving info's so that I can get answer quick.
The chat doesn't show up at all it says (chat.type.text) (In game) also in the (console) that's why I gave /op to everyone and use /say to chat.
You probably cloned PM incorrectly. It looks like the lang submodule is missing. Get a precompiled phar here. Or try cloning recursively.
Do NOT use the "Download Zip" button, it won't include submodules. Either use git with the `--recursive` option, or download a phar from https://jenkins.pmmp.gq
Guys, the "chat.type.text" problem occurs when downloading straight from GitHub without downloading the rest of the external files. METHOD ONE - THE SAFE WAY dktapps has already told you: METHOD TWO - The "I DON'T CARE, ILL BREAK IT ANYWAY" method. Extract master.zip, navigate into the directory and extract the contents of RakLib, SPL, GUI and LANG/LOCALE into src/raklib, src/spl, src/pocketmine/gui and src/pocketmine/lang/locale respectively. Run ./start.sh (OR Start.cmd), PocketMine-MP will now start. This information was found on https://pmmp.gq/get.html Please read. Also, how about some light reading, on https://pmmp.readthedocs.io/ SIMPLES!
If you're on UNIX based OS, try this: Code: git clone https://github.com/PrimusLV/PM-Installer.git PM-Installer/pmInstall.sh -g https://github.com/pmmp/PocketMine-MP.git -t "My PM Server" In case if "Permission denied" displays, run this and then try commands above again. Code: chown +x PM-Installer/pmInstall.sh Or simply run script as `root` by `sudo`
Really? This gets annoying. We now have 4 slightly different soloutions, while the creator of this thread already has solved his problem.
Never understood why people use non-compiled versions. All it takes is DevTools (or unphar or pmt.mcpe.me). .phar is MUCH faster in my view
