    Hey man, I recommend checking out https://github.com/pmmp/PocketMine-MP/tree/stable/src/pocketmine PocketmineMP source code:). Also, learn PHP first, and OOP too. Necessary for learning PMMP. I started with mostly Java and Bukkit to actually learn how a server software works but its your choice xd.
