Hi, I am trying to connect to my server using the external ip: (this is an example not the real one) 10.0.0.4. I can't connect to it. Do I need to create a domain? Or do I just need to enter the external ip? Thanks, Th3LinuxMast3r
You don't have to buy a domain, if it's portforwarded, you can just join by entering you IP in MCPE (btw 10.0.0.4 is 100% no public IP)
On a side note, if you want a "domain name" or if the public IP changes frequently (or ever), take a look at noip.com/free They have an easy setup process that gives you free name to use. All you have to do is install their auto update client that refreshes the IP that the name they give you is mapped to.
do you have access to the router of this facility? It needs to port forward. https://forums.pmmp.io/threads/port-forwarding.5/
