Long answer: it is not possible in the way that PMMP is structured as it lacks protocol version adapters therefore making it impossible to support multiple versions also i retort, a multi version WONT make your server unstable

FYI Steadfast is based on PocketMine, so you can't say it is impossible with PocketMine's infrastructure. You can only say that it is very hacky, and that basically means you have to update the plugin at an expense almost as hard as maintaining PocketMine itself. In other words, if you want the PMMP team to allow any version to join, you are asking the team to do twice the work it is already doing.
Well, Our team tried getting multiprotocol working, the only thing that wasn't working was sending StaticRuntimeID to 1.2.13 players and the old format to 1.2.10 players.
